The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £35,328 - £42,701 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The NHS National Amyloidosis Centre (NAC), based at the Royal Free Hospital, is the only centre in the UK and one of the few centres worldwide specialising in amyloidosis. It provides a comprehensive diagnostic and management advisory service and has state of the art clinical and research facilities. The post-holder will work together with the Lead Radiographer for the Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service providing expert input for the unit, its varied and diverse workload and its interaction with patients and staff. They will develop and deliver a high quality, effective, flexible and efficient Cardiac MRI service and contribute towards national standard setting and implementing guidelines and policies, both for the unit and on a National basis.   

The post is funded for three years in the first instance.

The successful candidate will have DCR/BSc in Radiography or equivalent as well as State Registration. Along with a proven track record of competence in work involving patient care the candidate will have knowledge of common clinical disorders and experience of quality assurance within a Cardiac MRI unit.  Experience of Cardiac MRI is desirable.
