We are looking for a ward administrator to support 7 West, our busy 28-bed vascular surgery inpatient unit. The successful candidate will be expected to play a vital role in providing high quality ward administrative and frontline reception support to underpin this essential service.


The successful candidate will work in usual circumstances from 12:00 – 20:00 Monday to Thursday, followed by 09:00 – 17:00 on Friday, with the flexibility to occasionally work 09:00 – 17:00 from Monday to Friday during periods of staff shortage.


The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate the Trust values and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. In particular, you should be a proactive and self-motivated individual and a good team player who is used to working under pressure. You should have excellent communication and IT skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
