Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to join the pulmonary hypertension team at the Royal Free Hospital.  We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, ambitious Consultant to contribute to further expansion and development of the pulmonary hypertension services at the Royal Free Hospital.  You will join a dynamic consultant team and contribute to an on-going agenda of service transformation to provide a responsive and high quality service for the benefit of patients across the country.

The post holder will provide overall care for patients referred to and cared for by the pulmonary hypertension service including inpatient care, outpatient care at the Royal Free Hospital Site and via the out-reach services (RUH Bath, QA Portsmouth, GST & KCH London, QE Margate, RV Brighton and UH Belfast), to support the development of a robust MDT oversight regime, to support the nursing and administration teams in delivering safe care and to support research in this field.

This new post will be based at the Royal Free Hospital Hampstead site and has been reconfigured to support expansion of pulmonary hypertension services.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is a leading national centre for pulmonary hypertension, amyloidosis and carcinoid heart disease. Applicants with a commitment to research and service development are particularly encouraged to apply.  The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is a part of UCL medical school and the post-holder will be expected to actively participate in undergraduate teaching, trainee supervision and appraisal.
