Senior Clinical Fellow (ST3+ level) in Cardiology Fixed Term for a period of 12 months

The Royal Free is a well-known teaching hospital associated with University College London Medical School and part of the UCL Partners academic health science centre.

We invite applications to join us working in this post which is based at our Barnet site and is immediately available. The post holder will work in our cardiology specialty. You will take the role equivalent to a cardiology registrar providing a resident cardiology service to the hospital. The job plan will include working as ward registrar to the cardiology ward, CCU and out-patients, including urgent access and community clinics. Opportunities will be made available to train in the cath lab and develop experience in non-invasive imaging . No formal on call commitments are set out though there are opportunities to undertake general medical at Barnet or dedicated cardiology on call at The Royal Free Hospital. You will work alongside eight consultant cardiologists, three SpRs, 2 senior Clinical fellows, 2 ST1, 1 FY2 and 4 FY1s. All annual and study leave is covered internally. This post is not recognised by the Deanery for training. You must have completed MRCP (or equivalent) and be registered with the General Medical Council.
