Our trust has around 10,000 staff serving 1.6 million patients. It comprises Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and more than 30 services in the community.  This larger scale organisation provides an unprecedented opportunity for us to continue our pioneering work, particularly in finding ways to deliver even better care to our patients.

Our mission is to deliver world class care and expertise in our clinical services, underpinned by world class teaching and research and we will continue to measure our progress against our five governing objectives: excellent outcomes, excellent patient and staff experience, excellent value for taxpayers’ money, being safe and meeting our external duties, and building a strong organisation.

We are currently looking for flexible, adaptable, motivated and reliable Administration and Clerical Assistants, to work as part of a growing team. The bank is an ideal way of earning extra money or starting a career in the Trust. It offers work on an ad hoc, flexible basis as you will cover shortages in staffing levels of our permanent staff, or completing short projects. Recent assignments have included reception work, updating administration systems, inputting referrals, typing, filing, and photocopying, answering telephones, taking minutes, arranging meetings and providing project support.

We are looking for candidates with various levels of administration and clerical experience who are flexible and reliable with good interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, and able to maintain the confidentiality required in working in a patient environment.

Successful candidates will be expected to work across the trust, providing services in a professional, efficient, friendly and polite manner, in line with our ‘world class care’ philosophy.

If all of the above sounds appealing and you want to help us further shape our direction of maintaining clinical excellence, then please make an application.
