Our trust has around 10,000 staff serving 1.6 million patients. It comprises Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and more than 30 services in the community. This larger scale organisation provides an unprecedented opportunity for us to continue our pioneering work, particularly in finding ways to deliver even better care to our patients.
Our mission is to deliver world class care and expertise in our clinical services, underpinned by world class teaching and research and we will continue to measure our progress against our five governing objectives: excellent outcomes, excellent patient and staff experience, excellent value for taxpayers’ money, being safe and meeting our external duties, and building a strong organisation.

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is the host trust for the North London Breast Screening Service, London Administration Hub and has recently been awarded the contract for the Central and East London Breast Screening Service; this new venture commenced on 1st April 2018.
To support this unique service development within London we are currently recruiting mammographers to join our new and expanding Central and East London Breast Screening Service team. We are recruiting to full and part time posts and can offer week day and weekend shifts. We can also offer flexible working arrangements, evening shifts, job share and shifts at screening sites of your choice where possible.
The Central and East London Breast Screening Service offers screening in seven locations across London including Camden, Islington, City and Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

All applicants must have valid UK HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration and hold the postgraduate qualification (M level or equivalent) in Mammography. Post qualification experience in screening mammography and assessment is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing the best possible quality in both the technical and patient care aspects of your work are essential.
