Locum Consultant in ENT (12 month FTC)

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a full time Locum Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon.

The appointee will join the Trust's ENT Head & Neck directorate which comprises of a team of five Consultant Surgeons, 1 Associate specialist, 7 Specialty doctors, 5 junior clinical fellows and 2 GPVTS trainees. Services are delivered across all Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust sites including Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital.

The Trust is going through an exciting period of change with the construction of the new purpose-built, paper-light Chase Farm Hospital which is the most technologically advanced hospital to date.

It is expected that the appointee will contribute to the development and delivery of inpatient, outpatient services and emergency work, whilst also contributing to the teaching and training of junior staff. The post-holder will provide general ENT work and whilst a sub-specialty interest is not essential the appointee would be encouraged to develop one during their time in post.

The successful candidate for this 10 PA job will undertake both adult and paediatric ENT surgery and be part of the 1 in 5 on call rota with a view to 1 in 6 in the near future.

If you believe you meet the criteria of the person specification and would like you to join the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust at this time, we would be interested in receiving your application.
