We are looking for a dietitian to support the medical short stay unit for therapy services at Barnet Hospital. This successfully developed new role will be expected to support a therapy team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and therapy support workers with in the rapid response team. They will have access to dietitians for clinical support and supervision with in the department. In particular you should have proven inpatient nutrition support experience particularly enteral feeds both PEG and NGT feeds and a knowledge of home enteral feeds discharge process. The band 7 dietitians can support the up-skilling of parenteral nutrition if required.
The department operates a flexible working policy and undertakes training of dietetic students. We pride ourselves in being a forward-thinking department with a strong commitment to continuing professional development.
