We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Cardiorespiratory Rotation. Our Band 6 Physiotherapists gain experience working in the areas of:

  • Intensive Care & High Dependency Units
  • Head & Neck, Vascular and Colorectal Surgery
  • Acute Respiratory Care (including NIV)
  • Cardiology including cardiac rehab
  • Cardiorespiratory outpatients
  • Paediatrics

In addition a Rapid Response rotation may also be added to the available rotations which would include experience in A&E and the Acute Assessment Unit.

You will be joining experienced multidisciplinary therapy teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Dietitians and Therapy Support Workers, supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist in each area. In addition to this, you will also work closely with the Neurology and Orthopaedic teams.

We offer a regular in-service training programme as well as clinical supervision in all areas.  We also offer a structured leadership programme. You will need to be a dynamic team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to teach, supervise and appraise band 5 Physiotherapists and Therapy Support Workers. You will also receive supervision from senior staff to support you with your own professional development.
